Checkin' in!

Hi everybody. So sorry to be late getting this post up today. It's been a very busy and wonderful day, though. I hope you all had a great day, too.

Spent part of the morning in the recording studio, getting my vocals laid for the last song on the cd. This has been a long time coming and I'm so glad to get the last track finished. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like!

Then we headed home to grab our sound system and dashed out to Harrisonville for a show with our seniors there. What a great time we have with them - wherever we go. I sang a bunch of Christmas songs and did some of the oldies from the 1940's, which is always so much fun. Love to sing the old songs. They're beautiful!

Then on to Mardel's to look for some more music, home for a bite and now we're heading back out the door to go sing at a Christmas thing in Lee's Summit. I'll be tired but content to get home tonight to get into some warm comfy clothes and love on two cats who feel like we've abandoned them for the day!

Please remember that you are loved. I get emails from some of you who are struggling and want to encourage you to think about all of the good things that God has done - and is doing right now. For one thing, He's growing us all and sometimes that means we experience growing pains. But it's so very worth it, beloved friends. Heaven is worth it. Remember that this is just a moment in time and before long, we'll all be home with our loving God and Father, our Lord Jesus Christ and all the angels and the host of heaven. It's going to be glorious! And, although we're still here for reasons we may not understand right now one day we will see the beauty in God's plan.

There's still so much to see and do while we're here. Let's not miss a moment of it!

Until tomorrow, enjoy this wonderful night and I'll touch base with you again tomorrow...hopefully in the morning! :)

Much love to all,
